15.1 x 14.97 x 8.43 mm natural clear-white Quartz in Asscher cut shape. The gemstone weight is 12.1ct and it was mined in Brazil. The clarity of this octagon / emerald cut Quartz is graded as VVS, which stands for "Very, Very Slightly Included" under 10 x magnification. This gemstone is untreated; no treatment at all has been applied. The item is sold as seen in the picture: 1 piece white Quartz for the price listed.

  • The Asscher Cut makes this gemstone very special. Joseph Asscher designed the Asscher cut in 1902 to increase the brilliance of step-cut diamonds. Nowadays it's applied to various colored gemstones.

I am of the opinion that the company gem select cares about the product beautiful gems it sells and the cost of the gem I purchased was small i was treated as if it cost a lot of money and product was described in detail and i felt good about the little stones i had ordered.
